Summary
Large circular dish, part of a blue and white armorial dinner service with a central scroll resting amongst flowering shrubs within a ogival cartouche. The border with a full coat of arms (Sir John Brownlow, Viscount Tyrconnel 1690 - 1754) with supporters and a motto flanked by two garters and flowering shrubs. Kangxi.
Provenance
Indigenous items gifted to/purchased by the National Trust from Lord Brownlow with grants from the National Heritage Memorial Fund in January 1984.
