Summary
A blue and white armorial part dinner service with a central scroll resting amongst flowering shrubs within a ogival cartouche. The border with a full coat of arms (Sir John Brownlow, Viscount Tyrconnel 1690 - 1754) with supporters and a motto flanked by two garters and flowering shrubs. Kangxi. The part service comprising - 1. Five large circular dishes in two sizes. 2. Two saucer dishes. 3. Two plates. 4. Three side plates.
Provenance
Indigenous items gifted to/purchased by the National Trust from Lord Brownlow with grants from the National Heritage Memorial Fund in January 1984.
