Summary
A blue and white and famille rose part dinner service with a central coat of arms (Sir Richard Cust 1680- 1734 and his wife Anne Brownlow 1694-1799) within diaper pattern wells and borders of trailing flowering branches. Kangxi. 18th century. The part service comprises. 1. Two large dishes. 2. Six saucer dishes. 3. Seven plates.
Provenance
Indigenous items gifted to/purchased by the National Trust from Lord Brownlow with grants from the National Heritage Memorial Fund in January 1984.
