Red-brown leather presentation case lined with blue velvet and silk, exterior inscribed in gold 'W. P./ 1766.' Holds bronze commemorative medal (429261.1). On obverse, head of William Pitt facing left and inscribed 'Gvlielmvs Pitt'. Reverse inscribed 'The man/ who having/ saved the/ parent pleaded/ with success/ for her/ children'.
