Oil painting on canvas, Thomas Shrawley Vernon (1759 - 1815), British (English) School, circa 1780/85. An oval head-and-shoulders portrait of a young man facing, head turned to the right, powdered hair, tied at the back with a black ribbon. He is wearing a red coat with green collar and epaulettes.
