Oil painting on panel, A Son of Sir John Hobart, 3rd Bt (1627-1683), either Henry Hobart, later Sir Henry Hobart, 4th Bt (c.1658-1698) or John Hobart, later Brigadier-General John Hobart (c.1659-1734), British (English) School, circa 1670. A three-quarter-length portrait of a boy, half turned to left, gazing at the spectator, his right arm resting on table, red sash over breastplate and white full sleeved blouse, white lace cravat. Left hand on sword with eagle's headed handle. Standing in front of a landscape.
