Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Urith Pole, Lady Trevelyan (d. 1697), attributed to Jan van der Vaart (Haarlem 1647 – London 1727) - previously attributed to Sir Godfrey Kneller (Lübeck 1646/9 - London 1723). A portrait of the daughter of Sir John Pole, 3rd Bt, in a brown dress, seated, in a landscape, holding lamb and festoon of flowers. She married Sir John Trevelyan as his first wife in 1693, but gave him no surviving children.

Probably commissioned by the sitter's husband Sir John Trevelyan, 2nd Bt, and given to her father, Sir John Pole 3rd Bt, and thence by inheritance and descent; on loan from Trustees of Antony
