Bookseller's mark in blue ink on second front endpaper of publisher's advertisements. Provenance: Adhered to front pastedown, bookplate with heraldic device (arm with arrow) and motto, 'John Hales'. Binding: Nineteenth-century blue grained cloth over boards with blind embossed decoration and central gilt crown device. Blind embossed decorative spine panel with gilt crown device and lettering.
