Vol. 2 (contains all from leaf 217 and on) : ill., maps (metal cuts), port. ; fol. Contemporary hand-colouring throughout. Without the English title and imprint slips, i.e. original engraved French title and imprint intact. Imperfect: wanting title page. Some water-staining on leaves throughout both vols. Binding: contemporary seventeenth-century blind-tooled vellum; sewn onto five raised bands; blind panel design on covers, with blind floral and strapwork centrepiece stamp and floral cornerpiece stamps; two pairs of green linen ties on each vol.; gold-tooled spines (discoloured, very dark) with some repairs; gilt title and vol. number on red goatskin label on spines. Red sprinkled textblock edges. New endpapers.
