Binding: Eighteenth-century black textured leather over boards on three raised bands with two false, Harleian-style binding: gilt-tooled rectangular compartments on covers comprising fillets and rolls, with cornerpieces, outer triple fillet, spine ornately gilt in compartments with central acorn spray device, gilt rolls at board edges and inners, gilt edges, horizontal comb marbled endpapers.
