Provenance: nineteenth century armorial bookplate with crest depicting a lion statant with tail extended and the Talbot motto "Prest d'accomplir" on front pastedown. Evidence of a rubbed-out ink manuscript inscription on front pastedown. Binding: eighteenth century sprinkled calf; gilt tooling on edges of boards; gilt tooling and gilt tooled title label reading "Hutton's Mensuration" on spine; text block edges sprinkled red and brown.
