[i.e. Francis Beyman Hacket of Moor Hall (fl. 1816)] Twentieth-century bookplate, with monogram F. H., pressmark 2.C.23, and date 1931 added in manuscript All three bookplates have motto "Fides sufficit". Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Moor Hall Library, Sutton Coldfield.. Binding: Seventeenth-century full calf over boards; blind fillets and cornerspieces to form border and central panel; rebacked in calf; red morocco spine label with title "Hammond's Paraphrase of the New Testament"; sewn on six raised bands.
