Probably Lionel Tollemache, 8th Earl of Dysart (1794-1878), at Ham House by 1844; by descent to William John Manners Tollemache, 9th Earl of Dysart (1895-1935); bequeathed with the house in 1935 to Sir Lyonel Tollemache, 4th Bt (1854-1952); by descent to his grandaughter Barbara Judd (1926-2013); purchased by the National Trust at auction at Christie's, South Kensington, London, 15 April 2015 (lot 488).
