Summary
Small earthenware oil lamp with an impressed line and dot decoration. The lamp has a small filling hole on top and narrows slightly towards the wick hole, which has a raised rim. Of Egyptian origins, Roman period.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
