Summary
A Louis XV ormolu mantle clock with circular white enamelled dial inscribed 'BLANCHIN A PARIS' enclosed in a shaped case cast and chased with shell medallions, wave ornament, scrolls and foliage. Surmounted by a vase-shaped finial mounted with scrolling leaves. Sides pierced with trellis and rosette ornament with deep pink silk behind, the back with central rosette and leaf surround. On spreading leaf feet. Springs signed 'Blakey a Paris 1750'.
