Summary
An oak backstool, French, late 17th/early 18th century. The back a void frame, and with boarded seat, raised on block, squat baluster and ball-turned front legs joined by a high turned front stretcher. With plain rear legs and a plain low 'H'-shaped stretcher. With turned feet.

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Edgar Graham Lister (1873 – 1956) with the house and collection of furniture in 1956.
