Summary
Early 18th Century walnut wing armchair. The square padded seat is supported on cabriole front legs with scrolls to the knees and club feet linked by turned H stretchers. Above the cylindrical rear legs, linked with a turned stretcher, the padded back rises to an arched top rail, the wings leading into the horizontally scrolled-outward arms. Covered in Lister wool needlework. Loose seat squab and loose cushion. See W.F.34.
