Summary
18th century wing easy chair in walnut, underframe with scroll legs. Loose seat and cushion. The square padded seat is supported on cabriole front legs with scrolls to the knees and a moulded crease leading to the toe of the squared foot. Above the rectangular rear legs with stopped chamfers, linked to each other by a turned stretcher and to the front legs by shaped H stretchers, the padded back rises to a scrolled-over cresting rail, the wings leading into the horizontally scrolled-outward arms.
