Oil painting on canvas , An Unknown Lady, British (English) School, mid-18th century. An oval half-length portrait of a woman, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a brown robe, and a lace fontage with trailing lace lappets, and white lace at her neck.

Purchased by National Trust in 1957 from William Lowry Lenox-Conyngham (1903–1957), shortly before his death, along with the other contents of Springhill
