Oil painting on canvas, Antique Ruins with Figures and a Pyramid by Jean-Baptiste-Charles Claudot (Badonviller 1733 – Nancy 1805), dated on a tablet on the pyramid: 177(?). Landscape, in the manner of Jean-Baptiste Lallemand (1716-1803) with pyramid, ruin and columns to right, figures in left foreground. Incorrectly attributed to Panini on frame. One of a pair.
