Summary
One tureen with lid standing on a rectangular plate, part of a Chamberlain Worcester dinner service comprising 35 pieces. The boar's head on the service is part of the Beckett family crest. The service was made for Sir Martyn Beckett's father, Sir William Gervase Beckett.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the National Trust for display at Rievaulx Terrace, 1972.
