Floor tile - Design 63 - Fragment - The tile is heraldic and the design is the Arms of England. The glaze is brown to light brown. Potentially mid 13th to early 14th century. (Group F – Burnett-Brown Tile Collection Report). The tile fragment has an outer edge and is in fair condition. The remaining slip is patchy and the imprint is worn. There does not appear to be any glaze remaining on the slip or the body. On the reverse is a section of a scoop.
