Summary
Floor tile - Design 54 - Fragment - The tile has two six pointed stars and two six petalled rosettes, set diagonally. The bevel is variable. Potentially mid 13th to early 14th century. (Group F – Burnett-Brown Tile Collection Report). The tile fragment is in fair condition and is large portion of a tile with one side piece missing. Some slip remains but it is some of the points of the star and petals of the rosettes that remain, not the middles. There is no glaze on the face of the tile but there are patches on two of the edges. There is no scoop on the reverse.
