There is a central motif if a cross with fluer de lys terminals. Potentially mid 13th to early 14th century. (Group F – Burnett-Brown Tile Collection Report). This tile fragment is a corner piece and therefore has the quarter circle arc with a wing like trefoil. The fragment is in very good condition. The majority of the slip is present, but there are small areas of damage, and most is glazed. The body has a good layer of glaze. On the reverse is a section of a scoop.
