Summary
Floor tile - Design 46 - Fragment - The tile has four out-turned fleurs de lys from square enclosing four angular pellets. Potentially mid 13th to early 14th century. (Group F – Burnett-Brown Tile Collection Report). This tile fragment is about half of the tile and is in fair condition. Most of the slip remains, but it is patchy in places, and small areas are glazed. On the body, there is a very small amount of glaze, near a piece of inlay. The reverse is very uneven and there is what looks like a single, central scoop, but hard to be certain.
