Summary
Floor tile - Design 46 - Fragment - The tile has four out-turned fleurs de lys from square enclosing four angular pellets. Potentially mid 13th to early 14th century. (Group F – Burnett-Brown Tile Collection Report). This tile fragment is from the middle of the tile and is in fair condition. Most of the slip remains and small areas are glazed. On the body, there are some dark patches of remaining glaze but it is very thin. On the reverse is evidence of potentially three scoops.
