A ceiling painting after part of engraving by Cornelis Bloemaert II (1603 - 1692), published by Hieronymus Tetius in 1647, after Pietro da Cortona in the Palazzo Baberini showing one of the scenes on the cove of the vault over the Salone, with Triumph of Divine Providence (1633-39) showing Pope Urban VIII's [improbable] conquest, through his piety and wisdom, of Lust and Temperance. Lust is represented by a naked female figure surrounded by winged cupids, Intemperance by Silenus, father of Bacchus, god of wine, all watched over by Wisdom.
