A three-quarter-length portrait of a man, standing by a window, wearing a blue coat over a white waistcoat embroidered with gold braid, holding a miniature of George III.

Became the property of the National Trust, by donation, with all profits henceforward benefiting the houses and the charity, from Historic House Hotels Ltd and all its interests in Hartwell House, Bodysgallen Hall and Midddlethorpe Hall, in September 2008
