Summary
A colour card of a man on horseback with a falcon on his left hand and two yeomen each carrying a falcon and a long pole, while two dogs walk alongside. In the background on the right, two men with scythes are cutting grass and on the left a man rests on his scythe while a woman rakes the cut grass. In the distance the entrance to a large house can be seen. Separately at the bottom is an image of six people attempting to catch some very large butterflies. Beneath is the explanatory text 'B121. July. Falconry, hay-harvest; chasing butterflies', 'Add. MS. 24098, f.24b', 'British Museum', 'Printed by Waterlow & Sons Limited. London'. On the reverse is 'Printed in England'
