Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Sculpture (The Arts) by François Boucher (Paris 1703 – Paris 1770), signed and dated, lower right: F. Boucher 1758. One cupid leans against the marble bust, the second points to a relief of putti. The bust of the child was once thought to be Alexandrine d'Etoiles (1743 - 1754), daughter of Mme de Pompaduor, afte rthe origial by Jacques Saly in the V&A.
