Summary
Saucer, porcelain, a Vincennes straight-sided saucer, the centre with two birds in flight in colour, painted on a white ground within a border of gold leaves and flowers in scrolls, against a bleu lapis ground, with traces of a gilt dentil border. The underside has the manufactory's mark of interlaced 'L's in blue enamel, circa 1754.

Claimed from the estate of Ralph Dutton, 8th Baron Sherborne, 1985 by the Hon. Miss Joane Dutton, by whom bequeathed to the National Trust, 1988.
