Summary
Mackenzie-Wishart Daylight Slide photographic plate holder. Polished mahogany plate holder for half plates, hinged on short side and with brass fittings. Rectangular transparent yellow plastic window to the back. Below this printed in black ink on an inset circular ivory disc is "MACKENZIE-WISHART DAYLIGHT SLIDE" and "PATENT A" (the A is in red ink) "MACKENZIE & CO. GLASGOW". The interior is black painted wood with a central brass clip. Stamped into the wood is "22". For use with plate envelope 1524590.3
