Summary
A mordant dyed Indian cotton palampore with a deep border of flowers and birds. the central panel is double ended and depicts stylized mountains with a tree of life at the top of the mountains surrounded by a multitude of flora and forna including pomegranates and peacocks. there is an urn at each corner of the central panel containing a bouquet of flowers and with a bird on each side. Believed C.1740
