Summary
[Destroyed in the fire of 2015] Oil painting on canvas, Sir Thomas, 2nd Baron of Onslow (1679 - 1740), previously titled Sir Arthur Onslow, 2nd Bt, MP (1622-1688), British (English) School. Full-length portrait, standing, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, his left hand on his hip, his right arm resting on a plinth on the left wearing his robes and powdered wig with centre parting. Red drape on far left, wall with circular window on left, distant horizon with cloudy sky on the right.
