Summary
[Destroyed in the fire of 2015] Oil painting on canvas, George Onslow, 4th Baron Onslow, later 1st Earl of Onslow (1731-1814), British (English) School, circa 1776. Created Lord Cranley in 1776 and succeeded as 4th Lord Onslow in the same year and created Earl of Onslow in 1801.
Provenance
Purchased by the Ministry of Public Building and Works in 1963 from the 6th Earl, Transferred to the National Trust in 1977.
