Summary
[Saved] Oil painting on canvas, Richard, 1st Baron Onslow (1654-1717), Speaker of the House of Commons by Sir Godfrey Kneller (Lübeck 1646/9 - London 1723), inscribed with name of sitter, etc. and date 1710. A full-length portrait standing to left in Speaker's robes, his left hand on his hip, his right resting on a table on which lies the mace.

Purchased by the Ministry of Public Building and Works in 1963 from the 6th Earl, transferred to the National Trust in 1977
