Summary
[Saved] A small William and Mary carved wood and gilt gesso side table in the manner of John Gumley, the rectangular top with a moulded border and with a bas relief decoration slightly raised at the centre and including interlaced strapwork and scallop-shells on a pitted ground, the arched frieze with plumes at the centre and panels of trellis, the cabriole legs with cabochon beneath plumes and ending in ogee square pad feet.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust in 1968 by Mrs Hannah Gubbay. Formerly in the Collection of Lord North (Glemham). Chairs now in V&A
