Summary
One of a pair of cloisonne enamel figures of mandarin ducks, black grounds, on flat oval bases, their wing feathers coloured in dull red, bright lapis blue, turquoise, yellow and white, their undersides in very dark purple and white, with gilt-bronze beaks and feet. Chia Ch'ing.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust in 1968 by Mrs Hannah Gubbay
