Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Elizabeth Hancock, Mrs Henry IV Jones (1709/10-1784) with a Greyhound by Thomas Hudson (Devonshire 1701 – Twickenham 1779). A three-quarter length portrait of a woman, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing pink dress and blue mantle. Her right hand on the head of a greyhound which looks up at her, her arm resting on a plinth to the right. Indistinct pillar and hazy blue background.
