Summary
An architectural drawing. Ground Plan of Felbrigg with garden layout, 1691. This plan shows probably the original garden layout of Felbrigg and also the former location of Service and Stable buildings. Most of the inscription is in pencil, as is the outline of the Orangery, so these date after 1705, but the rest of the drawing, showing as indicated on verso 'House & Wood in Felbrigg' may date to 1691. That would mean that the service block seen here relates perhaps to the Samwell period. Fragment with #111. Pen and ink, brown and black, some pencil, some red crayon.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
