Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Cremer Cremer (1768-1808), British (English) School, circa 1800-1805. A squared-framed oval, half-length portrait of a man, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing an open brown coat with a white shirt and waistcoat and a black hat, leans on a chair, green background. Note on reverse 'Cremer Woodrow assumed the name Cremer Cremer by Royal Licence, died 1808. My great great grandfather, RWKC'.Married to Ann Buckle, see companion NT 1401277.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969).
