Oil painting on canvas, A Bearded Man in Oriental Costume (in the manner of Rembrandt), British (English) School 18th century. Half-length portrait of a mature man, turned slightly the left, gazing to the right, with; a full grey beard and wearing a red cloak with a red and white turban with a red jewel.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969).
