Caption
This is a copy of the painting in the National Gallery, London. It was almost certainly made after the original came to England from France, and its sale to Sir Simon Clarke by Bryan in 1801. It was very possibly made after its arrival into the National Gallery's collections in 1840.

Full length figure of St John as a child holding a lamb in a landscape. Inscription 'Ecce Agnus Dei' on strap wound around wooden cross. This is a copy of the painting in the National Gallery, London.

Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
