Summary
A pair of landscapes by Joseph Vernet (1714 to 1789). In gilt frame. Commissioned in Rome by Benjamin Lethieullier at the same time as Vernet's 'Four Times of Day' (NT/UPP/P/121a-d) in the Dining Room. One of a pair (NT/UPP/P/131b is other).

Acquired by the National Trust with the help of a grant from the Purchase Grant Fund, 1976.
