Oil painting on canvas, Mary Yate, Lady Throckmorton (d. 1728), style of Willem Wissing (Amsterdam 1656 - Burghley House 1687). Inscribed in gold, top left. A three-quarter-length portrait, slightly left, seated in a landscape, wearing brown-red dress, white sleeves and a blue stole, holding a bunch of flowers in her left hand. Mary, daughter of Sir Charles Yate of Buckland and Harvington, wife of Sir Robert Throckmorton, 3rd Baronet.
