Oil painting on canvas, William Paston (d.1769), attributed to William Hoare of Bath, RA (Eye 1707 – Bath 1792) (previously in the manner of Thomas Hudson (1701-1779). Inscribed top left, in gold: WILLIAM PASTON ESQr OF HORTON COM. GLOSCESTER/DIED 1769. A painted oval half-length portrait, of the father of Anna Maria, wife of George Throckmorton, to right, in blue coat, grey waistcoat ansd powdered wig, his left hand in his waistcoat.
