Summary
The right hand top drawer from a George III style tallboy top section (NT13550.2) Base has been repaired with cloth and has two shrinkage spilts, one mended with fabric. Metal oval backplate to D-shaped handle. Backplate with twisted rope rim, oval raised centre with tear drop decoration. Lock with no key. Inlays of straight bands of ebony and boxwood form an Oxford style frame around the edge of the drawer front which has broken away from front left side, the broken off piece is kept in drawer.
