Summary
Oil painting on panel of Aernout van der Mye (born c.1625), from 'The Staalmeesters', after Rembrandt van Rijn (Leyden 1606 – Amsterdam 1669). A head-and-shoulders portrait of a man with a moustache wearing a white collar, and a black hat. The portrait is taken from Rembrandt's group portrait 'The Sampling Officials of the Amsterdam Drapers' Guild' ('The Staalmeesters') in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, of 1662. The sitter is the man on the extreme right of the group and has been identified as Aernout van der Mye. Painting in a heavy, black frame.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
