Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Holy Family with Saint John in a Landscape (after Andrea del Sarto), Florentine School, 16th century. Man, woman, large child with mop of hair and a baby. All have halos except the baby. Retouched and paint badly worn. Large gilt wood frame with floral decoration. In notebook no.5, page 62 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Mermaid no.9 Oil Painting the Holy Family in a good Italian frame, carver gesso and gilt 3' 6" x 2' 9"'
