Summary
Sword; Wakizashi, (Japanese sword) with unsigned blade of the Seki style, dating form the 17th century. Copper fitting to steel blade. Iron tsuba (inventoried separately 1328824/SNO.A.218). Sticky label on blade '21'. Wooden handle with black lacquered ends and covered with cream fish skin and brown textile webbing. Black lacquered wooden scabbard with shimmery pearl decoration to one end. Black lacquer hole for carrying strap. Slot for sharpening tool. Sticky label on scabbard '12'.
